GLP-1 Support Patches: What They Are and What They Are Not
What GLP-1 support patches are
GLP-1 support patches are a wellness supplement category. At Slender Me Medical we carry the GLP-1 Support Patch by PatchAid, a topical patch containing a blend of herbal extracts and B vitamins.
The most useful thing we can tell you about them is what they are not.
They are not a substitute for prescription GLP-1 medication
This distinction matters more than anything else on this page.
Semaglutide and tirzepatide are prescription medications that act directly on GLP-1 receptors. They have been studied in large randomized trials, and their effects on weight and glucose are well documented.
GLP-1 support patches are dietary supplements. They contain botanicals and vitamins. They are not pharmaceutically equivalent to prescription GLP-1 medication, they have not been studied in comparable trials, and they should not be expected to produce comparable effects. Any product marketed as a supplement alternative to prescription GLP-1 therapy is making a claim the evidence does not support.
What the patch contains
The formula combines plant-based botanicals with B vitamins. B vitamins have a documented role in energy metabolism. The botanical ingredients are included on the basis of traditional use and preliminary research rather than clinical trial evidence.
Transdermal delivery means the ingredients are absorbed through the skin rather than the digestive tract. Absorption varies by ingredient and by individual.
Who might consider one
Some patients use these as part of a broader routine — alongside a prescription program, during a maintenance phase, or as a nutritional supplement while considering other options. They are inexpensive and low risk for most people.
If your goal is meaningful weight loss and you are eligible for prescription therapy, a patch is not a substitute for that conversation.
How to use
Apply one patch daily to clean, dry skin. Each pack contains 30 patches.
